Folgate St, London E1 (Opp Liverpool St Station)

The building has been refurbished as a hotel, keeping the existing Victorian facade of the building intact.

However, there were issues with noise and vibrations from the railway and Underground lines coming up into the building. Carthew’s Diamond Drilling were brought in for their specialist sawing services. We had to work within confined spaces to create a separation cut to allow anti-vibration rubbers and springs to be placed and concrete columns to be used. The project has been a huge success and the client was very happy with the results. Completed on time and on budget.
